Curriculum & Academic Programmes
Wisdom Child adheres to the government-approved curriculum of 6 -3 -3 – 4. This means that Junior Secondary students cover the curriculum for JSS1 to JSS3 by the end of the first term of JSS3, while SS1 to SS3 cover their curriculum by the end of the first term as well. This allows teachers to revise previous classwork and prepare students for external examinations.
Furthermore, students who do not meet the academic requirements for their proposed class upon admission to the school are provided with remedial lessons and closely monitored to ensure academic excellence.
We also adopt the Nigerian education philosophy as follow:
- A free and democratic society
- A just and egalitarian society
- A united strong and self-reliant nation (students)
- A great and dynamic economy (versatility of each student)
- A land of bright and full opportunity for all citizens (equality of all students regardless of their ethnicity, religion or tribe.
